Robotics!!!!!!!

This week was really fun we looked at the Scrapbooks in the Chairman's workshop this week. I also had the chance to help separate the Robot, and put it back together with the help of Dillan's and George (Timmy). Another thing that I learned today was the way the torpedo works, and how to catch it as Mr.Lajvardi demonstrated in front of the class today. It was awesome the Torpedo was really fast, and I barely cached it. In the end I would like to say that even doe I'm not going to the retreat this weekend I am starting to become more conferable with my new surroundings. Maybe Robotics is truly where I belong???

Team 842 2011 Chairman's Submission

Robotics is not just a group that builds Robots, but an inspiration to our community that has helped STEM flourish, and expand. The Robotics team doesn't just build robots, but help young minds become interested in science, and mathematics. In today's world the United States isn't what it used to be number 1 as people might call it. The United States is currently ranked 25 in math, and 20 in science in the world which only means that the United States is decreasing drastically in these in two of the most most important subjects in the world ever known to man. With out math our Science the United States would have never gone to the moon, the united states wouldn't have computers, and the united states would be inferior to most living organism. People need to understand that all the basic materials used today have been made possible by the use of Science or math. What would the human race do if we lost the very essence of our existence? The very factor that has made us who we are today may be lost if we don't do something and what a better way to start then by joining the Falcon Robotics Team. A team that is not only here to build Robots, but to help young minds like myself understand and get them interested in Science and Mathematics. We are also a team that cares about our community and a team that is known world wide around the country for its exuberant accomplishments such as the time in which the Falcon Robotics Team beat MIT. In conclusion what I learned from this summary is that the Falcon Robotics Team isn't just a team that builds Robots, but a team that serves their community and  overcome obstacles as a team.

Robotics

This week I came to the Google Docs workshop. I also helped Daisy with her Scrapbooking job, and helped her organize, and establish a new page for the scrapbook. I also had the change to experiment my first Mechanical experience with Martin. Well, we drilled a hole into an aluminum tube, and make it hollow, so that we could use it for the torpedo for the Robot. I also helped Stephanie by looking up the phone numbers for the Murphy school district. Finally, the last thing I did this weekend was cut the tickets, and number them for the Dreamers Black out with the help of Daisy Fernandez.

Robotics

This is my first week in Science Seminar. We've been watching videos of the team, and their accomplishments. I have also been introduced to some materials that I would never have worked with before, such as the Robots. I have also learned that with sacrifices come opportunities, but to do so you need to be active in the club. Hopefully, I will be part of the electrical team.
